BRIEF SUMMARY
This webinar adds to the Basic ECG Interpretation webinar and discusses advanced topics including chamber enlargement, myocardial infarction and ischemia, pacemakers, and other less common conditions that can be confused for myocardial infarction and ischemia. Both rhythm strips and 12 lead ECGs will be discussed..

- Describe the ECG characteristics seen with chamber enlargement including hypertrophy
- Identify the expected ECG changes seen with myocardial infarction and ischemia
- Describe the common ECG characteristics for conditions that can be confused for ischemia or infarction
- Detail the ECG characteristics of common pacemaker programming and settings

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Brian is an Exercise Physiologist II with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Rehab program; previously he was part of Bill Kraus’ exercise research team in the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute after supervising exercise testing in Duke’s Cardiac Diagnostic Unit. He has run thousands of various stress tests with ECG throughout his career, has taught ECG courses, and has coedited an ECG text and cowritten ECG articles.
