Good luck!

Let me find the contact info for the woman at P&H who handles this for me. Please give me till tomorrow or friday.

Hi Peggy, thank you for that information! I looked into Pritchett and Hull but did not see the digital option. I will look more closely into this; thank you!

Hi Renee,

We don't do Phase 1 education. We do a bedside visit to introduce the patient to cardiac rehab.

We do use a tablet for Phase 2 onsite education while patients are excercising. We have printed handouts too.

We use an iPad and our digital information is from Pritchard & Hull. We pay $400 or so a year to be able to share 15 or so different pieces.

If the patient would rather have the printed copy, we send the patient home with that. If the patient would rather have the digital copy, the patient gets it in email.

Hi all,

Does anyone currently use a tablet loaded with digital patient education for their Phase 1 program? We use video education (Milner-Fenwick) for stent/PTCA, AICD, PPM, Going for CABG, D/c post CABG, CHF, and Afib. We would really like to do this via tablet, as it would be easier for our patients.

If a program uses this could you please answer the following questions:

What brand tablet is used?

Is there a particular app that you can upload programmed education?

Do your patients seem to do better with this rather than handouts?

We are open other to suggestions as well!

Thanks for your help!
