As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, we invest significant time and resources into acquiring advanced degrees, including Master's level education to enhance our expertise. However, the correlation between education level and compensation remains incongruent. While having higher levels of education equips us with advanced knowledge, the compensation fails to adequately reflect this. Many CEP's have to find additional means of income in order to support themselves, or end up leaving the field. Does anyone have any information about fair compensation for CEP's or strategies to improve compensation?
